The Pere Marquette RIver Lodge was once again full of women with a shared interest in fishing and learning as 21 women, as far away as the UP and Chicago, gathered June 7-9 for the annual W.O.W. weekend.
While the focus of the weekend was the full day guide trip, activities such as fly tying, casting instruction, and a mini entomology lesson allowed participants to stretch their skills. Most importantly, it was a time and place to share experiences and stories; building relationships that will help extend the TU initiative of getting women out on the water and involved with conservation.
